My effort should never be to undermine another's faith but to make him a better follower of his own faith.

Mahatma Ghandi

We look with uncertainty
beyond the old choices for
clear-cut answers
to a softer,
more permeable aliveness
which is every moment
at the brink of death;
For something new
is being born in us
if we but let it.
We stand at a new doorway,
awaiting that which comes...
Daring to be human creatures.
Vulnerable to the beauty of existence.
Learning to love.

LOCATION
I am in the Ravenna neighborhood in Seattle at:
2020 NE 65th ST
Seattle, WA 98115

FEES
My fee is $90.00 an hour.  I believe that healthcare should be available to everyone so I reserve a few time slots per week at a sliding scale rate.

I do not bill insurance directly.  I can provide you with a receipt of your payments made to me. You would then be responsible for submitting this, along with any appropriate paperwork to the insurance company. Some insurance companies will then reimburse all or part of your payment made to me as an out-of-network provider. Please see the specifics outlined in your insurance plan.
Currently I am a network provider for Community Health Plan of Washington.

I specialize in working with those challenged by life transitions, by a shift (large or small) in "seasons" including: moving into lifework and adult status, evolving relationships, 12 Step recovery work, health changes in self and others in your life, loss of parents, and creating legacy at any stage of life.
The process of change can be multi-layered and challenging, requiring time for both reflection and action, appreciation and questioning, celebration and grieving.  When you find it difficult to be at ease with aspects of your life or relationships, increasing awareness and creating a space for what wants to happen next can be powerful.
Our work here will be a compassionate and purposeful undertaking, directed at reaping the full benefit of this transition in your life.

I believe that the story of your life and the distinguishing characteristics of your relationships are created by the experiences life brings you.  This is influenced by the multiple ways we all see, hear, and experience each other.  A key element of our work together will be exploring various translations of this rich and complex mix of information.
I offer a supportive, encouraging, goal-oriented approach with consideration given to the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of your situation.  Patterns and symptoms on the physical level might also be explored as possible clues to imbalance or unmet needs.
Important issues we can address in our work together could include: Family of Origin, depression and worry, anger, sadness, stress, decision-making, managing conflict, and making choices to increase wellness and balance.
